After meeting with Pam and discovering my aura colors I was inspired to develop what I knew were my "true colors." I am a Violet/Yellow and this color combination, as Pam explained to me, is artistic and visionary. I started to make the time to add more creative activities to my life knowing that when you are true to who you really are, you can create more joy in your life. We Violet/Yellows are drawn to partners who can share in our vision, but who can also be a playful friend. When I met my husband I knew we shared the yellow part of our aura colors. Knowing that Yellows like to be physical and have playful childlike personalities helped me to enjoy this part of myself and to share it with my partner (and husband to be!). He also had Logical Tan in his aura, which I learned is a good compliment for me. Logical Tan can ground someone with violet in her aura. This provides a good balance because as a Violet color I can lose sight of the practical side of things. My wonderful partner helps me to see things from his perspective; practical, analytical and methodical. Tans value the stable lifestyle and security in knowing what will be. Violets on the other hand are off dreaming and thinking of lofty ideas. Sometimes these color matches can be frustrating for each other as we do think in opposite ways. But they can also compliment, for example, my Violet can help make it easier for my Tan husband to articulate what he is truly feeling. And my husband's responsible side can help me to get on track in the financial area. Having these combination colors makes us a great match! As my relationship with my husband deepens it has been extremely beneficial for me to know about the aura colors. It is a great asset to know what makes your partner tick.

Kevin is a classic Violet/Yellow - an artist and musician. He is very funny. People endlessly arrive asking him for advice. His colors perfectly compliment my Blue/Yellow aura. He values my Blue/Yellow traits of creating beautiful environments and events for friends and family. Our aura color combination has translated into fun, travel, adventure and passion for us. I will be ever thankful for Pam Oslie's encouragement, gentle guidance and her "colorful" insights that helped me find the love I longed for. I am living proof that you really can "Live Your Dream" in aura colors!

Being a Blue/Yellow, my biggest incentive in learning about the aura colors was enhancing my ability to recognize my ideal partner when he showed up. I spent ten years traveling always with an eye open for that Yellow/Violet man. After ten years, I got a little discouraged, and started to consider other men as possible mates, I even tried different color combinations, a Yellow/Green, a Tan/Violet, a Green/Violet and although they were very wonderful men, they never quite fit. There were always things that just didn’t quite work with me. I finally started to really recognize Yellow/Violets and most of the men that I dated were only Yellow/Violets. I finally met my Yellow/Violet. I have never been happier. We have been comfortable from the very beginning, it’s been easy, like an old married couple, and we just keep getting better. We are blissfully happy, have an incredible life, and we are both deeply grateful to have found each other.

Once I understood what my "True Colors" were and who was going to be compatible with me or better for me, my self doubt began to diminish and a whole new world opened up. I no longer felt isolated and lonely. I took Pam’s words to heart and really listened and learned. When I became clear on who I am as a person and who I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, it freed a place in me that allowed me to attract my husband. I met my husband on June 30, 2005. We instantly fell in love. We just knew we loved each other. It was like, “Oh, there you are.” We went shopping for wedding rings. He proposed in the most beautiful place at a lighthouse in Maine on a sparkling day. We have since bought a house together and had a magnificent wedding. It feels like the most natural thing in the world. Every single day this beautiful man blows me away with his heart of gold, full of love and compassion. He is fun and funny, truly kind and sincere, intelligent, gentle, loyal, sensitive, and so very manly. I am so grateful that I met Pam, read her books, and understand my "True Colors." I feel that none of this would have happened without her help.

I am constantly learning more about aura colors and about myself from Pamala. I use this knowledge every day. When meeting new people and clients I can usually sense what their aura colors are and I use that knowledge to speak their language. If I sense a visual Violet I use words like "see" and "look." I also know that I can describe a picture to them and they will absolutely see it. If I sense a Green aura, then I know that person is usually concerned with bottom line and they just want the facts. In my personal life, I had been married for 10 years but single again since 1990. I had been in a few relationships but nothing lasted more than 4 years. As I looked back, I seemed to have been attracting the wrong aura colors and I was bored beyond belief. I started with a list of everything I wanted in a man and in a relationship. Of course, a Yellow/Violet topped the list. I felt love and inner peace when I was conjuring up this ultimate description and I was confident that he was going to show up. Within 4 – 5 months the Yellow/Violet man that I was to marry showed up. We married in June of 2006. It has been fun and exciting with never a dull moment. We love to travel together and we are always going full speed ahead.

Our Blue and Violet energies resonate together beautifully with a deep spiritual connection, and our independent and fun loving Yellow is delighted to discover that a relationship can actually be great fun with plenty of freedom. I'm grateful everyday that my life has transformed into this rich, colorful, love filled life with my ideal partner.
